Emergency buzzer — Majors.

Oncology called about 10 minutes ago. 54-year-old woman with lymphoma, on systemic anti-cancer therapy. Fever at home. She sat in the waiting area and now looks acutely unwell.

The nurse: “She’s 38.9, heart rate 130, and I can barely get a blood pressure. I need her in RESUS.”
