SCOTTISH AMBULANCE SERVICE — PRE-ALERT

67-year-old woman. Recurrent unexplained collapses and "funny turns" over the last day. She recovers quickly between them.

Admitted with diarrhoea. Usual sotalol. Started a macrolide this week.

Currently awake and talking.

HR 46  BP 118/68  RR 16  SpO₂ 97% air  GCS 15

Monitor: sinus bradycardia. Not in a sustained tachycardia.

ETA 4 minutes.
